- Minimum Bend Radius: 8 mm
The RG178 coaxial cable is a 50-ohm single braid shielded flexible cable, capable of operating from 0 to 6GHz. With a diameter of just 1.8mm, it's ideal for applications where space is limited.
RG178 is commonly used in telecommunications, aerospace, and military applications, including GPS antennas, Wi-Fi systems, and radio communications, where compactness and high-frequency capability are essential.
Tin-coated copper provides lower cost for market, but same cable attenuation and electrical performance.
For more information about RG178 cable attenuation, diameter, and electrical properties, please refer to the cable specifications.
RG178 cable is commonly terminated with:
- IPEX MHF connectors
- MMCX connectors
- MCX connectors
- SMA connectors
- SMB connectors
- FME connectors
- TNC connectors
- N connectors
